A short poem about the loss of someone that can never be replaced in my life.

I love you
I always have
I always will
You are gone
Never to be seen
Taken away
Forever set in stone
Placed in the shade
Under a tall tree
Immense weight pushes down
Crying helps none
Feeling so desperately alone
Can never be undone
This is my new life
Devoid of you
Absent of what we had
All that could have been
Will certainly never be…
