When a man loves forreal and true
Seeing deep in the heart of a man
Finding more than just hardness and desert land
Finding that inner core of sweetness
A part that is not considered a weakness
But considered glory and truth
Honor and ultimate power
A root so deep, it cannot be undone when begun
This core, this root, is love
Past the pain, past the drama, past the past itself
To somewhere where it is just he and myself
Open fields with flowers
He would open his own heart and we would talk for hours
Kisses for no reason at all, deeper in love would I make this man fall
Pulling past all the doubt, and world against us
Proving to other men love can be more than lust
Smiles mean as much as tears do
Days can mean as much as years, it’s true
For women true love never dies
For men also, don’t believe any other lies
We breath the same, we both have emotion
And a man or not, he can give his true hearts devotion
All these stereotypes mean a grain of salt
When love comes around, men put their selfish lives on halt
How do I know? Because for someone like that I sought
And found, now with love we have each other chained and bound
No blindfolds, we both see clearly
And even more importantly, we love each other dearly
