Just a thought
I sit back to ponder the doldrums of life
The “Banality of Evil”
The all-consuming strife
We spend time Holding our true identities within.
Is “Ockham’s Razor” the original sin?
Dancing with the devils, we shun good.
Is this Abhorrence, or are we misunderstood?
I do not know what trails I have blazed
In this miasma of assimilation truth is hazed

Or shall I ferry on the River Styx

Nor is it something I can fix
The temple I built, was made to last
Time erodes, until all things collapse
But hindsight cannot change the past
Just as dusk is dawn’s inevitable relapse

These are words better written naught
Still I think “What of those whom lacked similar thought?”
We are on the precipice, of losing all we know
Our struggle, history will overgrow.
We could just be herded like so many "sheep"
Though we know, the consequences are steep
We are the few left, who must stand and fight
To to bring upon darkness, or guide with ligh
