Cigarette- a friend as well as a killer.

A lethal friend, it slowly kills

With a filter and a passageway

        Converts nicotine into energy

        Burning it burns your heart

        Lodges nicotine in your heart.

As you smoke, the cigarette burns

A solitary smoke beside the lake

And the past hurries to meet the present

The fag ends, the past becomes cloud

A new one will renew the past

Summon and kill it at your will.

  The past never die

  As you slowly die

  So does the past

  You are the past

  Cigarette smokes out the memory

  You want to forget

A forgetfulness of love, hate & frustration

Filtering the good times from the bad.

            Burned tobacco releases enigmatic energy

            A devastating phenomena

Releases energy from lungs to veins

            A network of creativity

That kills as well as saves

A dying life that does not die

Get cancer, get death, get free.
