a tragic poem about my mom
It was a warm Spring day
when tragedy struck.
A tumor in the brain
made her leave this world.

She was here with us one day.
Smiling and laughing,
And gone from us the next.

Now I sit at the graveside
with tears in my eyes
I say a final good-bye
My mom will be with me no more.
