There are no mirrors in this place

Its a blessing you will see

Much easier to go about your day

With no one to tell you who to be.



We dismissedbour reflections long ago

Watched them shatter, watched them smashed

Pieces directed toward infinity

No longer echoing our past



I know you have one in your bag

For its burden makes you lean

And you stumble and trip to match my step

Why not give that dreadful thing to me?

See?
