This is just a poem I wrote about a beautiful black stallion, facing the world.
His black silhouette flashes against the sky

And disappears again as the lightning ceases

The hard thumping of his hooves

Is all you can hear throughout the silent night

As he comes closer and closer with every mighty stride

He greedily eats up the ground

Leaving dust behind as his trademark

His muscles ripple under his shiny black coat

Reflecting the moonlight as he rears towards the sky

The wind whips at his mane and tail

Framing his intelligence and beauty

His shrill neigh echoes through the darkness

Letting everything and everyone know that he is near

His hooves crash back down on the earth

Creating an earthquake that rolls over the whole planet

He goes back to racing the wind

Although he has already won

He snorts proudly through his flared nostrils

Prancing while galloping at a neckbreaking speed

His neck arches and he raises his legs up to his chin

Puffing down on the earth and kicking up dust

A silver streak of moonlight touches his muscular rump

Shining upon the path ahead of him

He charges at danger

Not afraid of anything

He does not shy away from fear

Because fear shies away from him

He does not need a weapon to fight his battles

Because nothing has the courage to take him on

With speed as fast as lightning

He surges forward

He has no final destination

Because he was born to run

People say his existence is a mythical story

But only he knows that they’re wrong
