She begins to read
Her mind spills her reality
She drops the letter
No, can’t take this casualty

She begins to see red
Her thoughts spill her sanity
She swings at anything, everything
Why me and this finality?

She begins to speak
Her scarlet lips spill her pleas
She throws her hands down
Oh Lord please

She begins to cry
Her sapphire eyes spill her tears
Her face in her hands
Stuck with the worst of her fears

She begins to calm
Her heart spills the broken memories
She wipes her tears
Acceptance runs through her arteries
