This poem discribes the first meeting of ones best friend.

                                        A Forever Friend

True love oft shows itself with revalation
When our heart is so weighted with devistation.
At a time in your life when you feel you should give up,
Along comes proof the door is not shut, you show up.

When I met you  t'was a mere chance out of the blue
A smiling face looking at you.
It seems to be saying"come take a chance,
          Come with me,let's dance".

Have you ever met that person in a crowd
Who's very essence speaks your name out loud?
Though youve never met in this liftime,
The familiar feeling runs a chill up your spine.

God smiled down at me and gave me your hand
To be a great friend as though always planned,
To share mydeep secrets and inner thoughts,
Your heart wide open but blind to my faults.

Your love has been forgiving and kind,
Of mistakes made that should boggle ones mind.
It's easy to love when all is perfect,
But true love comes when one doesnt deserve it.
