Yeah it's free verse. Get over it.
Now I feel like Jacob Marley
Lugging these chains around
Looking for keys to free my soul
And find peace
of mind
and heart
Metal boxes locked up tight
dragging through the dust and
darkness
silence
then moaning
then cries
The pain is like a pressure in my chest
I feel tightness in my back and jaw
The vice squeezed around my skull
Only blocks progress
no solution
no hope
but not quite acceptance
I still hate Big Brother
but Freedom isn't Free
I must find the price
and pay
But how?
And where? to whom?
The chains
they seep liquid lead into my skin
and poison my thoughts
I must break them
clang clang clang
no success
clang clang clang
keep trying
clang clang clang
what's the point?
