when our heart & mind needs a break from all the pains,an escape is what you'll never get.
  Staring at the ceiling i lay,
  waiting for sleep
  to capture me and to cease
  this endless stream of thoughts

  But once again sleep
  deceives me and here i lay
  listening to the rain drops on my window pane
  listening to my heart's unusual rhythm

  With only the crickets
  staying awake for me
  to share my loneliness
  to share my hearts pain.
