This is a little insight into the mind of a poet when writing something to put on paper.
Poems come and poems go
making the words rhyme and flow

Some are romantic filled with love
like on cloud nine in heaven above

Some are funny some are sad
some are good and some are bad

No matter your taste of preference
history, life, love, or suspense

It is written by a few or many
you can bet your dollar or a penny

So curl up in your easy chair
allowing the poet his words to share
A few phases or more with you
a nice little treat, a simple thing to do
