A part three to "A Dove's Plea" and "A Doves Cry", sort of how it feels now.
The light went out in her eyes
As If you'd flipped a switch.
She gave up.
She gave in.
To the d a r k n e s s within.

Really, she should have known.
Her White Knight would never notice
Never see
Never hear her desperate plea.

So she sank back down.
To the bottom of her dark sea.
To the rabbit hole within.
And just let it all sink in.

She was truly alone.
Just a no one.
Not worth a thing.
To anyone, especially her King.

Her love went unnoticed.
And she gave in.
To the bottom of her d a r k n e s s.
Oh lord, what a sin.

What a shame, they say.
She's so young.
So much life ahead of her.
Yet she gave in, and let go without a murmur.

The light went out in her eyes
And no one even noticed.
She reached out to her only
Sadly, she ended up lonely.

Love made her his fool.
Her love was aimed too high.
He, being a star.
And her, being just a scar.
