Science and relativism have formed together into a new religion.
Anything is okay to believe
In this age of ideological tattoos
What's gender when I can choose?
What's fact when I can sell the news?
What's truth when it's choice I receive?

Don't you know everything is okay?
It's all related to the size of salary
In the society that knows no morality
But don't you dare dip into bigotry
They can accept all but what they don't say

"It's progress," they claim
But don't say it's wrong to be loose
Or that it's okay to refuse
A morality that doesn't fit under your roof
"Choose freedom, not shame"

Nobody needs morality
We just touched down on Mars
We can see billions and billions of stars
Even find the molecule of our start
And the source of our sexuality

No, we don't need beliefs
We can see the ancestors we came from
We can predict how many years till it's all done
Can even blast a nuke before it comes
But is all that knowledge a relief?

Some day we all go the same way
No heaven found in the Higgs-Boson
No hope in the vestigial tailbone in my bottom
No morality found in the star's name you've forgotten
And yet you ask why I pray
