Prompt - Write a Burns Stanza AKA Standard Habbie Poem

Each stanza consists of six lines.

There is no limit on the amount of stanzas.

The rhyme scheme is a,a,a,b,a,b

The syllabic structure is 8,8,8,6,8,6




Compromise

Forget the truth and lie to me,
I want faith and the fantasy,
Play it out, please pretend with me,
Never not just my friend,
Tell the untruth that sets me free,
I’ll love you till the end.
