A poem about my struggling to deal with some events that took place during my childhood
I cry silent tears
I'm afraid of who will hear
What judgments will be passed?
If only I could go back.
Happy days are fading memories
I try not to let them escape
The days before life was complicated
Back when you were ok

I miss the naive mind I had as a child
Then I was so forgiving
Do I forgive the thief that stole my childhood?
Or the murderer who killed me inside?
I can't let go
My pain runs deep
It will forever be a part of me

I need help!
I don't know how to ask
It all happened so fast
I want to let go and be ok
All that I've held inside throughout the years
All of my silent tears
