A guy and a simple night with his friends, till they enter a house, and he is soon alone.
A night with my friends, a moment to remember
For we walked upon this house in the middle of december
Broken down and in pieces we knew it to be inhabitated
Not by those of the living, but those lost in an accident

For the building looked burnt down, black and grotesque
But we all still walked in none the less
To see a picture of a woman right in the doorway
That's face turned all red, and screamed as if part of its forte

Most of my friends turned around and left
As I walked forward, for I was deft
The staircase I walked up seemed to creak as I went
Till the top step collapsed, impeding my ascent

So I changed my direction, and headed toward the kitchen
That was covered in blood, a very deep crimson
Why this looked fresh was of nothing but a surprise
Till I asked a question outloud, and was given a reply

I knife levitated into the air, and pointed directly at me
Where my first reaction was to stepback, turnaround and flee
Running as fast as I could, I had made it out the door
From which I had slammed behind me, and would never explore

This house in the dark, on this cold december night
Had left a frightful expression on me, at its very sight
For this house that had been occupied by those not living
Kept close watch on those who entered, with hate and misforgiving
