How do you go about talking about your own death?
If you should wake in the morning
And find that I'm not there
I've simply gone somewhere better
Don't ever shed a tear

My time on earth is over
My tasks are all complete
I've done what was intended
And conquered every feat

So think of me with smiles
And keep me near your heart
Look to the stars above
Know were never far apart

If one day you feel a presence
Hear whispers in your ear
Don't be alarmed it's only me
Know that I am near

If you never got to hug me
Or hear me say goodbye
If you need to see me one more time
Just look up to the sky

I'll be watching over you
From my perch up in the clouds
So don't hide in the shadows
Or among the many shrouds

If you ever need a helping hand
I'm never far away from you
Always standing over your shoulder
To guide and pass a hint or two

It's time for me to go now
They've finally called my number
It's time for me to go now
To my eternal slumber
