I wonder where you are today.
Are you working or taking a day off, enjoying the crisp fall air?
I wonder if you are happy and loving life.
Do your thoughts wander off to the day when we finally meet?
Did you pray this morning and spend time with the Lord?
Do you take your coffee black or with cream, sugar or not?
I wonder what sort of music you like. Country, jazz, swing, or pop?
Do you sing or do you play? Or do you have a different gift?
I love brown eyes but I’ll love whatever yours are, I’m sure.
Do you wait all summer for September when football season starts?
Are you sad after Christmas when all the lights come down?
Do you love to play outside and ride bikes in the spring?
I hope you like drinking hot chocolate and watching movies when it’s cold.
I wonder if you wonder about me.
We don’t know each other now, but I pray it will be soon.
I hope I am everything you’ve dreamed about and prayed for.
