A poem that I wrote that (I think) is about a person being abandoned by his church,
The songbird soars over the blue-black ocean
it's owner told it to fly forever, never settle, never love,
never live, never die, never tell a lie

He broke his promise, now he flees. Flames still fly towards the silent wingtips
Keep moving
He must
Keep flying. No green fields of Chile, to keep hope alive, those people that crashed had hope. I do not.

The yellow grains of many are finally seen. He is welcomed with open arms. Forgiven, black sickness healed with a higher calling, a place of work, delivering secret sending messages to the town mayor, for his eyes only. A new calling. A new life. A new home. A new life. A new faith. A new love.

A new way of life, something most want, most will not try, be the minority that can say. "I fought, and I won.

Amen.
