Short poem
I see the charm of Christmas
on the faces of the young.
Feel memories of Christmases
unwrapped and loved and done.
I smile at hidden secrets
behind packages and bows.
The decorated tree
with lights that flash and glow.
A tear I shed for Christmases
which no-one can replace,
and know that each new Christmas
will claim a special place.
I know the joy this Christmas
and feel the magic there,
the pleasure of reunion
the happiness we share.
