A ride through the solar system goes awry.
Saturnian Gray took off one day
and headed into space.
He piloted his UFO
with alien-like grace.

He was a gray and had a way
of navigating right.
He’d side step any asteroid
and bask in comet light.

He made his way to Jupiter
and flew past Ganymede.
He pushed his engines to the max,
for he was fond of speed.

Then he continued on to Mars--
red planet of renown.
He noticed Curiosity,
and so he flew around.

Saturnian arrived at Earth
and beheld all the blue.
But Venus and poor Mercury
were too hot to review.

With the sun near he got in gear,
then swung his ship around.
He turned his autopilot on
and he was Saturn bound.

But when his engines fired up,
his antimatter surged.
He was displaced through hyperspace
where time and space converged.

He checked his navigation board
and said, “For cryin’ out loud!”
It showed that he was now adrift
within the vast Oort cloud!*

Saturnian Gray was quite blasé
throughout his long return.
But when he got to Pluto he
set down for a long burn.
