Sometimes all you need is a dream
You sit all alone
In a dim-lit room
Surrounded by sorrow
And infinite gloom.

A stranger walks in,
Looks you straight in the face,
Then quite suddenly
You don't feel out of place.

She says three words
That cause you to gasp.
Somebody has told you
They love you at last.

As she walks away,
You drift off to sleep.
This encounter is yours,
A memory to keep.
