An insomniac contemplates the stars
Whose gaze follows him to my side of the world?
And whose gaze follows mine?

I have dreamed myself millions of times around this world but I have never escaped.
And Draco, guide to the Pharaohs, chortles at my attempts to follow his tail.

I dream of lands at the end of the Earth
The insomniac’s mind befriends the vagabond’s heart
Would that we gazers could share our thoughts in these wee hours
Travelling bards who tell tales of slaying dragons …
