Cold night
Child's delight
Waking up to
A big blanket of white
There are so many things to do
Snowmen, snow angels, going sledding, too
Joy in watching flurries fall to the ground below
Then it all melts as it always must do
Water soaks the ground through and through
Green grass a welcome sight
Gray skies turn blue
With sunlight's
Warm bright
Glow
