This is some of what I feel every time I write
I sit down at the computer to write

It is the same, day or night

I type symbols on it for a bit

I wait for the red lines to hit

IQ of 180 Yet I am dumb

I read everything I can get my hands on

Never stopping always moving on

I read science articles to enjoy

Yet in writing, English I destroy

I always fell so very dumb

Words on the page, never sit still

Letters in a word are moving still

Tricks I learned for when I read

Do no good when I write at any speed

Dumb, so very dumb

A voice whispers when I write

Say to me, that’s not right

You sound like a child of two

Using word that do not go where you think they do

Shut up, you are dumb

I grab the voice by the throat

I can read what I wrote

I ask for help when I can

From those that understand

I snap its neck when I’m done

Giving up would be dumb.
