A 9-11 poem. Remembering those who were lost.
The phone rings,
no answer.

The mobile lines are full.

Voice mail says:
Leave a message.

A child's voice pleas:
Daddy, please come home!

Buried in the rubble;
The father
prays to
God.

Keep me strong,
Take me home;
as his life fades,
under the stone.
