Poem to my mother
My mum happens to be my best friend,
An angel God decided to send,
It seems I wonder to this day,
How my devilish side is here to stay,

I used to be an angry child,
Uncontrolled and completely wild,
And upon my bum my mother did race
Her hand to put me back in my place.

When she did I screamed and hollered,
That hand however never faltered,
When I decided to be a terrible girl,
That educational palm would rock my world.

As I got older,
My heart it grew colder
But my bottom was always kept warm
And if I gave 'tude
My bottom was nude
And she'd leave me completely reborn.

And now I'm eighteen,
With poor self esteem,
For all of the trouble I happened to cause
But looking back now,
I wouldn't change how,
My mother laid down the law.

And I'll always be happy,
To do in a Snappy,
Anything that she asks me to do,
I'll tell all my siblings,
I thank mom for those spankings,
And know that her loves ever true.
