New to recovery
I wanna turn it off, shut down, run away
There’s too much
It’s all too much too soon
This flood of feeling has me drowning
And I can’t fucking do this!
I’m climbing stairs
Jumping through hoops
Serenity evades me
And I want to escape
Blackouts leave me living on autopilot
My mind over loaded
It wants to be numb
They promised me life
I’m barely surviving
I just want out
