One of my new-ish poems about my summer & the people (person) in it. What do you think?
She was one of pride,
but in July she blazed a different light;
her chocolate hair gave way and fell
to soft piles at her feet.

She turned to study her reflection,
But her mirror turned black as ash.

Rejected, a tinge of remorse;
But deviously in love.
