A vampires curse
I yearn to feel the threat of death
The weakened heart, the twisted wreath
The waiting for that final breath
Alas, I cannot die

I crave that death devours me
Consumes me for eternity
To rid me of this destiny
Alas, I cannot die

I ache to be rid of this curse
Inflicting death, I too disperse
The devils entity but worse
Alas, I cannot die

I loathe the silence when alone
I have no heart, in place, a stone
A grave should be my resting home
Alas, I cannot die

I long for death to intertwine
Asphixiate this curse of mine
And tear from me, this cruel destine
Alas, I cannot die

Your scream, it further makes me see
And as I drain the blood from thee
How still you lye, your soul set free
Alas, I cannot die.
