A mother remembers a long lost love.
I remember you with love
The less I get the more you swell
Though we’ve long been separated

I see you in passing but you leave before I can hold you.
I’ve met your children, grit, ache and dry
They kindly visit me often to remind me of you

If I could nail you down, we could resume our affair
If only I could nail you down.
I ask only a few hours together

Each night I think of you
Each day I pine for you
I can never get enough of you

Sleep, I miss you.
