A nonsensical yet emotional poem. A monologue by a cactus
I am a Cactus, hard, green
Each of my spines is an emotion
I am filled with sadness, yet a Cactus cannot cry
I am filled with happiness, yet a Cactus cannot smile

I am a Cactus, cold, alone
Each of my thorns is a feeling
I am filled with anger, yet a Cactus cannot scream
I am filled with joy, yet a Cactus cannot leap

I am a Cactus, sharp, strong
Each of my pricks is a thought
I am filled with awe, yet a Cactus cannot applaud
I am filled with imagination, yet a Cactus cannot draw

I am a Cactus
