Poem, "Down she falls, regret her only trail to those without a blacken heart willing..."
Down she falls, regret her only trail to those without a blacken heart willing to rescue.

Stretching dark the days are endless, with frost to freeze every inch of one’s skin.

The chance to undo word’s mistakes is lost in the dense air around her.

A cry is unheard of to passing ear drums that beat.

Angry lines reminisce in a screaming chorus in the back of her mind.

Eager hands are not seen to allow a stand.

She is welcomed not back into these people’s land.

Years take the prison and silences the pleas.

No one will listen to a shallow forgive me.

Down there is a woman with a past that’s mad, and a fatal case of regret.
