For anyone who has ever lost a child due to miscarriage.
Rain to wash away the tears,
Thunder to cover up the pain.
Dark sky above reflects the sorrow within,
Lightning flashes like the life unmade.

No chance was it given,
Before it was riven.
Mother's love stopped short,
Father's hope the same.

Some will say,
"It just wasn't time."
Others that "God knows best."
Those are empty & hollow words.

I still do not understand.
That was OUR child!
Now it's gone...
Mother & Father no more.

Husband & Wife as always,
Now a stronger bond to share.
We'll try again, some day.
But for now, the pain is still there.

Please keep your empty & hollow words,
There is no comfort to be had there.
This heartache is one,
Only time may fade.
