Poem about wanting to escape. We've all felt this way and I wanted to capture the emotion.
You've left me feeling hopeless
I think it’s time to go
There’s no resurrecting sun
Only barren snow.

No, I cannot stay here
I think it’s time to go
It’s a long time coming
There’s no turning back, you know.

The memories of hate arise
I think it’s time to go
I may think about you,
I won’t miss you though.
