It's a poem about being afraid. But no matter what, God is always there.
The other side of me is blind,
Can't see what's going through;
What's real and what's a lie behind,
It doesn't know what's true.

The other side of me is deaf,
The voices around it doesn't hear;
Not even the loudest noise can test
For this part of me is still not clear.

The other side of me is maimed,
Not a word or two it had spoken;
What it wanted to shout or say in pain,
Not a sound, the silence is still not broken.

The other side of me is numb,
It can't express, it doesn't feel;
Neither grandeur, nor sorrow, nor love,
No not one, all are concealed.

This other side of me is afraid,
In the darkness it still hides;
But there's a God and through Him I was made
So this other half of me will rise.
