I created this randomly after listening to the song "Monster". Enjoy!

Sleeping underneath the willow
Close to the waterfall
Resting on a soft moss pillow
Listening to the Nightengale's call

Climbing to the top of the rock
Then diving into the deep
The freezing water gives a shock
The chilling wind does creep

The breeze is whistling through the rushes
Singing a sad,sad song
While everything stops and hushes
Listening to Nightengale sing along

My heart swells with overwhelming fear
As I hear the hoot of an owl
The stench of death is near
And the musk of it is foul

Is that a branch snapping?
The sound of steps crushing leaves?
The butterflies in me are flapping
My heart flutters and heaves

I feel a hot gust of breath on my neck, and turn
Eyes go wide and I shiver
The contents of my stomach churn
It is the monster from the river

Unspeakable horrors i have now seen
And dank, sour smells filled my nose
I don't know if I'll see something clean
For my life might come to a close

I try to escape but I'm held fast
By arms meant to bring death
One more move and I'll be past
Not able to take a breath

Slowly the beast drags me to the stream
Intent on feeding upon flesh and bone
I wish someone's ears could hear me scream
Someone's but my own...
