Forcing away young love...
The love: Why bother?
The fall: Why try?

I see the faces come and go.
Some fade away, and some head below
to the deep recesses of my heart.
My brain sees my attention part.
Independence is my game.
My trust has been severely maimed.
I sort my files, one by one,
'til no love remains when the day is done.
I yearn for the feeling,
yet I know it's not real.
What kind of girl
lets her heart feel?
Loyal as a lion,
yet jealous like a snake.
There are so many risks
that my heart has to take.
It is better to have loved.
Yeah, say that once again.
I respect the small smiles,
but tell me:
When, oh when, will it end?
