Jagged
sore
no more us-ness

ragged
raw
left me breathless

counting
of hours
until time to sleep

mounting
the towers
of the castle keep

bubbled
the pain
uncertainty, doubt

redoubled
insane
how to cut you out

walking
unnecessary
this breath undrawn

talking
concessionary
you're already gone
