In tribute to my mother who left this earth before we could get to know each other
Sometimes I wish you were here,
to tell me what to do,
or just to sit with me,
so I could chat with you.
I know you are at peace,
in Gods heaven above the stars,
and sometimes I talk with you ,
like your really not so far.
Altho the angels came,
and took away your pain,
I miss you mama truly I do,
and hope to see you one day.
When that day comes
Mama won't it just be grand,
to talk of many things,
While walking hand in hand.
I am really trying mama,
to do the best I can,
There are days when I fall short ,
but, I hope you understand.
Mama the kids are grown,
and the years are passing by,
I'm looking forward to seeing you in,
in the sweet by and by.
Til God decides to bring us ,
together side by side,
I'll write you a few letters,
Most likely while I cry.
I'm just writing you mama to say,
I'm wishing you were here,
to sit with me today
and wipe away my tears.
I better go now mama,
and let you get your rest,
Cause when you see the Lord,
You'll want to be at your best.
I just dropped you this note,
cause I wanted you to know,
How much I miss you mama,
and I love you so!
