A poem about love's permanent effects on our paths in life.
Two lovers entangled
Their paths having crossed
At a moment where both
Needed one to cling to
Two people with trails
Left back in their wakes
Lines from far apart
Now crossing in space
Two dreamers with futures
Where would their paths
Have continued on to
Had they not caught the snag?
As they wind and unwind
They feed off each other
Their hearts and their minds
Take in one another
Forever they change
Even while together
Never to return
To whom they once were
