A poem about how the stars guide us
THE STARS

As I look out from my window on this crisp and frosty night
I glimpse a swarm of golden stars, the most amazing sight.
Their flashing here, the dancing there, their chasing everywhere.
The heavens are alive with their guiding lights that will guide the sailor to shore.

But what about those who live under these stars,
The homeless, the lost and the poor?
And what about those who are lonely tonight,
The sick, the bereaved and the scared?

May the bright jewels of heaven be their beacon this night,
May the glow of the moon warm their hearts.
And when darkness fades and the stars hide away
May the new breaking dawn bring a calm peaceful day.
