Heartbreak.
Yesterday.

Our eyes met,

While the sun shined

on us.

A sparkle,

Came from the sunlight

reflecting off of his blue eyes.

Why do I love him?

He doesn't love me back.

We sat on top of a fallen tree.

Torn down by time.

Today.

We walked to our favorite place,

The fallen tree.

I confess my love,

Rejection.

We leave.

No talking.

We fight,

Constant arguing.

I cry,

You leave.

Tomorrow.

I am alone,

Walking to the fallen tree,

But it's gone.

He took my heart,

They took my tree.

At least,

I have more reason to

stand tall.

Not over a dead tree.
