Deep night frustration in my angry 20s (2000/2001)
This dark brazen heart of arrogance
Insatiable, barren lust
May time find swift reprisal

Should my mind escape
Shape and rust
Exposed upon arrival

Could I could see beyond and past
Tempered ice
Smoky glass?

The mold of mind
Now whisper, writhe
Reach across the land alive

Illusions rise - shadows fall
Project against internal walls
A world of sound
Nebulous form
Fluid truth.
