The fish in the fish bowl may feel more suffocated than you think
The fish wished sometimes that the bowl wasn't transparent.

Watching the world go by like normal as the fish alone carried with her an inner turmoil that felt as fatalistic as the tsunami itself, was too hard to bear. Unforgivable, even.

As the fish swam alone in pristine, tap water, constrained by the curves of the cramped bowl, she often daydreamed of the vast, free ocean.

One fine day, the fish bit into the oxygen tube, felt all the air sucked out of her, and floated to the surface upside down.
