This is about love, unity and acceptance.
Growing in numbers just to multiply
Scorning your version of sinners to justify
your right to stand a little higher, while you crucify
the memory of the man who truly saved you.

If this is what it's evolved to, I don't need religion.
So save me from nothing but your self righteous benedictions.
Instead, I cling to what I trust which is my own convictions;
That allow me, with certainty to see right through you.

Now, I'm not trying to put down your beliefs.
I'm just taking the only road I know toward peace.
Trying to get rid of all this judgment and hate to cease
fire, to build a better world with you.

So lets take a step together toward enlightenment
and ponder what your savior really meant:
to " Love one another" gives us empowerment;
To know there is more to humanity than you.

So let's take these singles and make a whole,
let's take these spirits and make a soul.
We must band together from pole to pole
To have any hope of ever making it through.
