Never to be undone

Upon the edge

Scream every sound
Let them hear you
Be sure they are listening
Take in all that is being said
Let out all that is to be expressed
Raise every monument to the ground
Tear down all that you know
Smash it with your hands
Fear nothing if they bleed
A stain upon any other stain
Is still just a stain
God above will understand
He will look deep into your heart
He will see light in every possible form
He will add just enough to burn away
The deepest darkness of your case
Ready now
Have no fear
Not a single one
Faith is the crucible
And you are the hammer
In the end
When you are done
When you are free and clear
Stand up, rise to your feet
Climb to an impossible height
Greater than any before
Closer to God your will seem
Shout again
But this time not in anger
Not with an ounce of regret
Or in terms of what if
Instead scream of what it means
For your heart to be burning so bright
Scream of what it means to be free
Of the increments of darkness
