Founded from moments in absolute awe.
No, I can't figure this out.

No, I cannot understand

who You are, and why You came into my life

and took my hand, saved

my undeserving soul. You slayed death

and know sin's control over me.

You hold the victory

for those who ask,

"Who are You that opened up my eyes

to this world's seething lies, made me realize

that You touched my heart,

and set me apart from present worldliness?" There is change

I can't quite express, and now during every test

I cannot fear because You show me You are there with me.

I must believe You are God.

You are God Almighty, Savior of my soul,

Supreme over everything, conqueror

of all evil. You are God, my Father and my all,

You help me when I fall, You crushed

death's scarlet skull with Your Son

beloved and condemned

who fulfilled Your will till the end.

Now the cross is the sign for

overflowing grace divine,

You can have me, Adonai.

No, I do not understand but what You say is

my command and I'll do it willingly because

You are the truth I see,

and You set me free.

Dearest Savior of my soul,

You're the sweetest savor that I know.

With my lips I will show my grateful song,

humbled low, sing your praise forevermore.

Take this life that is not my own,

show me love unseen, not yet known.

You may seem a dream, but You are reality,

my vitality, and all You are asking me to do is live my life

for You, to glory in the Truth, to show others the

proof of a temple marked with the marks that we are

called to bear and to share with the brethren in this life,

to love others as unto ourselves. One life to live

that tells our story, reflects who we give the glory to,

tells who our heart's are fastened through by our

true desires. I don't fully comprehend who You are

that I've surrendered, but You've shown me Your way's better

than my own. So I end this with a prayer, Lord, I know that

life's not fair, help me focus on Your blood and not the flood

of tears that come and pain, for to me to live is Christ and to die is gain!
