My experience of social anxiety and the claustrophobia of being in a crowd.
Can’t get out,
I can’t get out.
There’s no way out,
No way out.

Locked in,
I’m locked in
Walls closing in,
Closing on me.

Covered in sound,
It’s crushing me.
Surrounded,
Crowded all around.

People on my skin,
Molested by eyes.
Webbed by words,
It’s all noise to my ear.

Cradled in my thighs,
Forehead on palm.
Knees on floor,
Tears to my drawers.

Closed window,
No open doors.

Crippled by anxiety,
Frozen to the floor.
Dribbling words,
They mean nothing anymore.
